Christmas decorations help
one and all get into the holiday spirit. In fact, holiday
spirits can be a wonderful decoration as well as a gift.
Just don't try to take your holiday spirits, such as a fine
bottle of wine, on an airplane this travel season as the
"no liquids" policy for air travel still applies.

But, if you are traveling this holiday season, why not put a bunch
of Christmas decorations all over your clothing and see if you can
get through the metal detector? Make a game of it. Go through the
detector, each time taking off one ornament or decoration, then
pass through again. The passengers behind will love you for this.
If staying home this holiday season, Christmas decorations will
help your visitors and passersby get into the season of giving.
In fact, if you decorate your home obnoxiously enough then may give
your home the gift of toilet paper or egging.
Christmas decorations can be in the form of wreaths, candy canes,
lawn deer and Santa Claus, pink flamingoes with red hats, tinsel,
bowels of holly and even reindeer poop. In fact, reindeer poop makes
for an excellent lawn fertilizer after the season has passed.
One of the most popular Christmas decorations is holiday lights.
Trimming ones home with Xmas lights is a time honored tradition
and says to the neighbors "yes, I'm one of them". But,
why not take it a couple of steps further this year and put up holiday
searchlights instead?
Huge green and red searchlights on the front lawn make for wonderful
Christmas decorations that can be seen for miles and even by air
travelers at 35,000 feet. Santa will surely know where to land when
he sees huge searchlights on your front lawn.
Mistletoe is another favorite Christmas decoration that can bring
good cheer and a kiss as well. Simply place the mistletoe either
on the front of your favorite pair of pants or else on the backside
(or both) and see what kind of reception you'll receive.
The ultimate Christmas decoration, however, has to be the Xmas
tree itself. Cutting down a perfectly good blue spruce, Scotch pine,
cedar or fir just for a few weeks and then tossing it into the garbage
is a great way to tell friends and neighbors that you don't care
about the environment and if you had your way, you'd decimate the
rainforest as well.
So, to recap, Christmas decorations are a wonderful way to instill
the holiday spirit in all who observe them. Besides, it gives you
a chance to go up in the attic or in that closet that is never visited
at least once per year.
