Culinary Christmas gifts may
seem rather ordinary. Some of the common culinary Christmas
gifts are cheese logs and meat logs and salmon logs and
moose logs.
Well, maybe not moose logs,
but you get the picture.

Culinary Christmas gifts may seem rather ordinary. Some of the common
culinary Christmas gifts are cheese logs and meat logs and salmon
logs and moose logs. Well, maybe not moose logs, but you get the picture.
Many culinary Christmas gifts come in logs or sets or pre-packaged
cellophaned, processed baskets from malls and wholesale warehouses
on the outskirts of town.
Since this website is all about unique Christmas gifts, we thought
we would brainstorm some rather offbeat culinary delights for you
and your family and friends. Take beaver paddle pie for instance.
Now there's a culinary delight that few have heard of and even fewer
have tried.
Beaver Paddle Pie
All that you'll need to get started with in the culinary
delight is a beaver paddle, the innards and pie shell and
two tablespoons of brown sugar. Simple lay the beaver paddle
on the bottom of the pie shell, cover with innards, sprinkle
the brown sugar on top and bake in an oven preheated to 350-degrees
for 45 minutes or until a fine skin appears atop the innards.
Dino DNA Sampler Platter
Don't let the scientists get all the dinosaur DNA! Some recently
discovered fossilized dinosaur eggs with DNA intact has the
scientific community abuzz. The heck with them, though. Don't
you also deserve a rare treat this Christmas? Much rarer and
more expensive than caviar from Eastern Russian Sturgeons,
dino DNA is sure to be a favorite for even the pickiest of
palettes.
Barbequed Moose Lips
What could be better than a night in the north country, communing
with nature, firing up the grill and slowly barbequing moose
lips by moonlight? Quite a Hoser delicacy, moose lips are
the one food, that'll kiss you before they're eaten. All you
need to prepare barbequed moose lips are a dozen startled
mooses, a gallon of bbq sauce and an open fire. Roast to perfection.
Dingo Gelatin
Remember when grandmother used to throw a can of fruit cocktail
into a gelatin mold and cool it in the fridge overnight? Well,
the one ingredient that grandma was missing from this concoction
was the dingo. Imported Australian dingo is a delicacy in
many country and the perfect accoutrement canned, fruited
gelatin.
If you have a culinary Christmas gift delicacy that you'd
like to share with others, then please send it in. We're always
on the lookout for great culinary recipes.
